If you’re putting together a grazing board for the warm Summer Days, here’s some handy tips.

If it’s a hot day, go heavy on the fresh fruit, with less cheese, as the cheese tends to sweat.

Think about if you’re wanting to co-ordinate colour tones, have greenery or fresh flowers, or if you’re wanting to include a sweet element, such as dipping chocolate or small candy.

Use this list to check off your shopping list:

  • Cheese
  • Sliced meats
  • Seasonal fruit
  • Dips, pates and pastes
  • Pickled vegetables
  • Crackers, sliced breads or chips
  • Nuts & berries
  • Sweets; chocolate, slices (cut smaller), cookies
  • Greenery or flowers

Arrange items on your board, starting with the larger sized items first.

Use small bowls for the items that include liquid, such as the pickled vegetables or dips.

Fill all gaps with small ingredients such as nuts or berries.

Don’t forget to provide knives for the cheese.

Now, sit back and enjoy!
